'Child Rights and You' (CRY) launched Know Your House

Puranik Builders Pvt. Ltd. is one of the oldest and trustworthy real estate company in India in association with 'Child Rights and You' (CRY) launched "Know Your House (KYH)". As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)initiative, this awareness drive involved children belonging to economically weaker sections as well as privileged children from schools in and around Thane and Pune.

As part of the initiative over fifty children from Hutatma Maruti Kumar Vidyalaya, Thane visited Puranik City, which is one of the ongoing projects of Puranik Builders. The students were taken through the various stages that are involved in the construction of a house and briefed about the efforts that go into constructing a complete house. This session was moderated by representatives from Puranik Builders team under KYH. For this initiative, Puranik Builders and CRY have come together in this one of a kind event to create awareness among children about the construction sector.

KYH is specially designed to create awareness among school children about the various processes involved in construction of a house-right from placing and cementing the bricks to making full-fledged houses. The CSR project is aimed at offering an opportunity for children to interact with professionals from the construction sector thus demystifying the process of building a house. Taking about this initiative, Mr. Shailesh Puranik, Managing Director, Puranik Builders Private Ltd said, "KYH is a CSR initiative by Puranik Builders, and we have undertaken it as a sense of duty towards the society. As one of the oldest real estate developers, it becomes our social responsibility to give back to the society from which we have received so much. We would like to contribute towards ensuring lasting change in the lives of our children, who are our future."
